Falleció el compositor Joel Goldsmith

HOLLYWOOD, abr. 30 (UPI) -- Joel Goldsmith, el destacado compositor y autor de las bandas sonoras de exitosas películas, falleció a la edad de 54 años. 

El músico, hijo del también legendario compositor para el cine Jerry Goldsmith, alcanzó renombre mundial con su trabajo para las series de televisión "Sanctuary", "Stargate SG-1" y "Stargate: Atlantis"; por las que obtuvo tres nominaciones a los Emmy Awards. 

En el cine, destacó por su colaboración en la banda sonora para las cintas "Star Trek: First Contact", "Kull, El Conquistador", y "Moon 44", a cargo del director alemán Roland Emmerich. 

Goldsmith también dejó su huella en el campo de los videojuegos al componer la música para el popular "Call of Duty 3."

A pesar de contar con tan solo 54 años, nos hemos enterado hoy de que Joel Goldsmith murió ayer. 
Entre sus composiciones cabe recordar títulos como "Moon 44" que acaba de reeditarse o sus contribuciones a Stargate de TV: "Stargate Atlantis", "Stargate SG-1", "Stargate Universe", "Stargate: Continuum" y "Stargate: The Ark of Truth". A recordar también trabajos como "Diamonds" o "La espada de la hechicera".

Must-haves
1+ years of BMC BladeLogic patch automation experience in a Unix/Linux environment Enterprise level experience
Basic Unix Systems Administration experience (from a patch management perspective)

Consulting experience
BMC Certification (BMC certified Administrator or BMC certified Operator)
Experience in a Solaris, HP-UX, AIX environments)
EMC Ionix experience (similar tool to BMC)

 

Role:
Client is looking for a candidate with BMC Bladelogic Automation experience (focusing on patch management for Linux/Unix). They are looking for a specialist to assist in the design, build and deployment of BMC BladeLogic solution to support approximately 4600 Unix/Linux devices globally. The deployment will focus on enablement of patching services and reporting on patch compliance. This initiative is a part of a security effort to ensure global compliance standards. Candidate will perform Unix patching as well as Architecture/Engineering in the BMC Bladelogic deployment effort. He / she will work on a 6 member team and coordinate with various groups in the 150 global sites under the expectation of deploying the solution in two separate global networks.
