Position  :  Java/Web Portal Developer
Location :  Montvale, NJ
Duration : 6 month contract + Extensions

 

MUST HAVES:
4+ years’ experience developing web applications using distributed components with J2EE/Java platforms (JSP, JDBC, EJB, Servlet).
Extensive knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, Ajax and Java/ J2EE design patterns.
Experience using framework components such as Oracle ADF, Spring, Struts, Velocity, Hibernate, HTML/XHTMLServlet, JSP, JMS, JNDI, LDAP, JDBC, XML, XSL, XSLT, SOAP, Web Services and WSDL.
Experience with RDBMS and SQL on databases such as Oracle 9i and 10g, MS-SQL.
Experience using JavaScript Tool kits like JQuery, Dojo etc.
Must be able to create system design documents for development work.
Strong problem solving abilities.
 
PLUS:
Experience with FatWire or Oracle Web Center Sites a major plus
Understanding of internet trends such as social media, mobile, SEO, analytics.
Experience with portal technologies such as BEA Weblogic, Oracle Web Center Portal, Portlets and WSRP a plus.

 

DAY TO DAY:
Benjamin Moore is building a new ecommerce internal web portal.  This will be an all web-based development role.  As far as a D2D, they will be mainly focusing on this project!
