Position  : Peoplesoft Functional Consultant
Location :  Omaha,NE
Duration :  6 month  contract 

 

Responsibilities:
Experience in implementing PeopleSoft Accounts Payable version 9.1 in multiple insurance companies
Experience in building business cases to justify the development of PeopleSoft customizations
Excellent understanding of the new functionality available PS AP 9.1 application
 Strong analytical skills
Strong oral and written communication (communicated to people at various levels within the organization)
Strong interpersonal skills
 Sense of urgency and thrives in a fast paced environment
Strong leadership skills – can influence, facilitate, and mentor others during the completion of the project
Quick learner

 

Experience and ability to advise on PS 9.1 Accounts Payable functionality
Experience and ability to advise and/or co-facilitate process sessions on Financial Reporting to develop a GL code block configuration
Experience and ability to advise and/or co-facilitate process sessions on Treasury
Experience in conducting operational overview of a Treasury operation
Experience and ability to advise and/or co-facilitate process sessions on Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Experience and ability to advise and/or co-facilitate process sessions on Travel & Expense
Experience and ability to advise and/or co-facilitate process sessions
on Budget modules with guidance on PeopleSoft and Hyperion capabilities
Meets skills and knowledge required of a PeopleSoft "advisor" - i.e. facilitation skills, process engineering, operational assessments, insurance knowledge, ability to assess customizations and provide recommendations, business case creation, etc.
