Role:                Lead Perl Developer

Location:          Dallas, TX

Duration:          12+ Months

Rate:                $/hr on C2C

 

PERL Tech Lead , with good experience of Web Design & Development in a LAMP stack environment . Should have excellent Object oriented skills and good communication

SKILLS:

PRIMARY:

·         Strong technical design and leadership skills – should have managed team 4-6 developers in the past.

·         Participate in review sessions to analyze business requirements and write design specifications.

·         Develop and unit test applications according to technical design specifications.

·         Provide enhancements for existing applications according to written specifications.

·         Take part in code reviews of own work, and the work of others.

·         Support application deployment to the QA and Production environments.

·         Troubleshoot problems as needed in the QA and Production environments.

·         Work with team members both on and off shore in a collaborative development environment.

·         Mentor junior members of the team with the goal of improving their design and development skills.

·         Manage the project tasks to ensure on-time delivery of quality product features and enhancements.

·         Experience with project management and excellent communication skills.

·         Object-oriented Perl, mod_perl (module in Apache).

·         Perl data structures & references, CPAN, modules, and packages.

·         Perl DBI experience.

·         Web Development - HTML/CSS, AJAX, JQuery, JavaScript, Perl Unit.

·         Apache, Linux ( LAMP Stack ).

·         Strong SQL - MySQL or DB2 preferred.

SECONDARY:

·         Agile Experience, SVN.

·         Project Management tools like QC, Rally & Pivotal.
