Job Title  : Middleware Engineer
Location : Tempe,AZ
Duration : 6 months contract to hire

 

Must Haves:
5-7 years of experience as a Middleware Engineer
Familiar with UNIX commands to perform system administration tasks such as:  adding a user, provisioning disk space, checking CPU utilization
Can perform tasks with line commands and scripting:  find, move, tar, grep, sed, awk
Ability to replace hardware components:  CPU, disk drive, RAM, power supply
Familiar with CAT 5 and fiber cabling
WebSphere Administration experience

 

Day to Day:
This middleware engineer will maintain production systems, run configuration changes, and work with the Application Development team to troubleshoot and fine-tune their production environment.
