Job Title  : Security Architect
Location :  Lincolnshire,IL
Duration : 6 month contract to hire

 

Must-haves- (CISSP is ideal)
7 to 10 years as a Security Architect
In depth knowledge and experience with Network and Security technology such as: IPSEC, routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF
Experience with secure design in relation to data sharing with third parties and vendors
Security Hardening, 3 Tiered Architecture Database
Experience with compliance aspects such as Privacy, HIPAA, and PCI

 

Plusses
CISSP, Cisco Certified Administrator, or SAN certification

 

Day-to-Day
This is a backfill for a the company's current Security Architect. They will be working on Small to medium size projects to review current architecture proposals, sit down with the teams, and design out secure architeture. They will help to draft/review security standards, and know how to secure routers, firewalls, servers, and databases for security needs. They won't physically touch the technology themselves, but architect the design.
