Job Title  : SOA Architect
Location :  Miami,FL
Duration : 6 month contract  to hire

 

Must Haves:
Degree
8 yrs as an SOA Architect or Enterprise Architect
Recent 5 yrs of experience in .Net (C#) Architecture (can be Java before then)
Experience with abstract factories, publisher-subscriber patterns, and provider models.
Experience with source control, build processes, continuous integration, automated testing.
Leadership skills
Extensive experience with .NET Development Platforms, Web Service design, Enterprise Application Integration, RDMBS, Middleware technologies, and ORM technologies.
Extensive Experience with SOA technologies: REST, SOAP, UDDI, WS-Addressing, WSDL, WS-standards.
Expertise in .NET technologies like C#, JavaScript/JSON/AJAX, and WCF technologies

 

Day to Day:
The SOA Systems Architect will be responsible for providing guidance in design and development of the enterprise service architecture, and working with the team to provide initial hands-on development support. In addition, this position requires individual to communicate in formal presentation settings including medium to large-sized groups of key decision-makers; therefore, strong leadership and communications skills will be vital to the success of this position. Finally, individual in this role is expected to mentor junior and senior development resources to build a larger services team.
