Position:          XML Developer w/EDI

Location:          Austin, TX

Duration:          6 Months

Rate:                Open

 

Job Description:

·         Experience with complex XML documents and XML schemas.

·         Experience with industry data standards and database architecture.

·         Experience with design and integration principles for complex, heterogeneous databases.

·         Experience with diagnosis and resolution of complex data infrastructure issues including development of methods to identify and resolve data incompatibilities among systems.

·         Experience in integration of complex multi-vendor sites, systems and applications.

·         Experience developing cross-walk between databases with associated business rules to meet the EDW requirements.

·         Must have a strong analytical, problem-identification and process analysis skills with the ability to envision a solution from requirements.

·         Three (3) plus years Oracle 10g (greater) as well as another enterprise database.

·         Professional who works well independently or as part of a team.

·         Three (3) plus years SQL based language.

·         Work experience and understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, thorough knowledge of the software specification process and software development processes, and software architecture..

·         Work experience and knowledge in managing the integration and maintenance of complex multi-vendor sites and applications.

·         Must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
