Position      : Avaya Specialist
Location     :  Seattle, WA
Duration     : 6 to 12 months  contract
 
Summary
 
The Telephony CTI and CRM Specialist is a contractor position and will provide expertise to the existing Telephony Team in the areas of call center design, CTI delivery via Avaya AES CVLAN and TSAPI, Call Recording as well as CRM integration to our call center desktop for Avaya products.  The focus is expected to include a review of the existing design to offer best practice recommendation to meet a 99.96% availability of Avaya Voice Portal and Interaction Center with Avaya IC SDK integration to our CRM Desktop.  Once stability is ensured, the Specialist is expected to review IC Workflows, SQL TOD management, CTI delivery and CRM design and offer best practice recommendation to design tuning and/or enhancements.
 
Review existing Avaya Interaction Center and Avaya Voice Portal design.
Recommend, train and lead implementation of improvements to ensure 99.96% availability of Telephony systems.
Recommend, train and lead implementation of business requested enhancements to Voice Portal.
Respond, and lead Team in handling errors on:
Avaya Interaction Center
Avaya Voice Portal
CTI and CRM
Effectively manage priorities and communicate progress and impediments
 
Qualifications:
Significant telephony experience with thorough knowledge in the areas of Avaya Call Center, with CTI, and CRM design, implementation and support. 
Should have a strong working knowledge of Avaya ASAI, CVLAN and TSAPI protocols.
Familiarity and or background in Avaya Communications Manager, CMS, AES and Call Recording solutions.
Working knowledge of development processes and utilization of JAVA.
Thorough knowledge of telecommunications technologies including Avaya Interaction Center, Voice Portal  PBX/ACD, Application Enablement Services, Call Routing Platforms, Call Recording systems.
Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to knowledge transfer complex concepts.
Strong degree of judgment and initiative in problem solving issues under pressure situations.
Ability to balance several conflicting demands to achieve optimum services performance with minimum disruption to business operations.
Sound understanding of general business conditions and practices and CLIENT’S strategic direction.
Ability to deliver knowledge base to transitional audience within Telephony team.
University degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
