Position:          Team Foundation Server Admin

Location:          Lake Forest, CA

Duration:          6 Months

Rate:                $/hr on C2C All Incl.

Job Description:

·         Manage and administer the enterprise instance of Microsoft Team Foundation Server including software upgrades, user training, and continued education on best practices 

      and knowledge of available features.

·         Expertise in migration and upgrade process from TFS2010 to TFS2012 (preferred) or TFS2008 to TFS 2010.

·         Create and implement source control branching strategies for multiple projects.

·         Experience in Process Template customization (With C#/VB.Net Development Experience).

·         Installation of TFS on Windows servers, both single-server and multi-server configurations.

·         Experience managing security for TFS components.

·         Experience configuring and using Team Build, Test Manager.

·         Experience managing project artifacts with TFS version control.

·         Customization of Default TFS work item fields/ reports etc.

·         Experience in troubleshooting TFS Reporting service.

·         Experience in Project wise backup and retrieval mechanism.

·         Experience in Performing DR exercises.

·         Extensive Experience writing Windows Batch Scripts , MSBuild Scripts, PowerShell Scripts.

·         Support change management in builds and deployment of code to test environments.

·         Support change management and deployments for promotion of code to production environments.

·         Support and maintain builds and deployments to Visual Studio Lab Management environments.

·         Implement patches for TFS and Test Manager, as needed.

·         Evaluate reporting needs and develop reports from the TFS data.

·         Maintain documentation for TFS processes (CM Guide).

·         Exposure to MS SQL Server.

·         TFS and Sharepoint backup skills experience.

·         Experience in TFS proxy Implementation.
